Hi I'm Meg
Hi,
My name's Meg and this blog is all about my chickens, what they get up to, all their characters and how I look after them.
Every week I will post "The Weekly Cluck" which will have lots of interesting stories and some surprise guests.
This week, I am looking forward to the arrival of our new chicken coop, which is being hand built by Doug. Once I have prepared the coop, I will be getting some more ladies and will add all the new arrivals as soon as I get them.
At the minute, I am able to produce around 6 boxes of eggs each week to sell to our neighbours. We hope to increase this with the new ladies, although it might take a few weeks for them to start laying.
We have a recycling egg boxes system and would encourage any visitors to bring their old egg boxes to us so we can make use of them again.
Our eggs are always freshly laid, unlike the ones you buy from the supermarket and we even recycle the chicken poop to fertilise our plants.
I hope you enjoy the website, please come and try the eggs and visitors to meet the chickens are most welcome.
See you next time on The Weekly Cluck.
Meg and the ladies.

Here is the new coop. No new chickens yet but the ladies love the new space!
