Good evening every body,
Firstly I must apologise for not bringing you the "Weekly Cluck" last week but my interpreter wasn't available and my claws kept scratching the thing the humans call a computer. Good news, The Crow family have stopped stealing our food, so no injunction required at this time. We have had a visit from Mr Partridge but he only stayed for the day and a spot of lunch. He is a very handsome man and I think Charlie was a little put out but he was still very polite. Blue and Black are very broody at the moment and the humans have to keep coming out and moving them. Apparently this is because if they don't then they won't eat and this could make them ill. The other problem is they are also hogging the best laying spots so there is often a queue for laying, and when a lady needs to go she has got to go!!! A couple of the new girls have had their first eggs, they are very small and sometimes just have the yolk or a jelly shell. I am helping them through this as it can be quite a frightening experience your first time round. We also have a new family on the patch, Mr and Mrs Blue-tit. I believe they have some very young babies but I am not sure how many, every time I try to engage Mr B in conversation he is dashing around apologising but he is very busy. Have a lovely week and I look forward to speaking to you all soon. Please leave me any comments or questions and I will get back to you. Cluckity cluck Val
